Keiji Haino

Keiji Haino lives and works in Tokyo. Haino founded a improvisation vocal band, Lost Aaraaff in 1971, and since then he has continued to search and explore new sound freed from stereotype music categories such as rock, noise and experimental music through his various band activities, collaborative and solo projects such as Fushitsusha, and Aihiyo, that plays many different covers including popular songs and children’s songs. He has presented performance and live concert around the world utilizing various styles and expression, which include voice performance, guitar sound, percussion. He has also worked on music for performing arts and collaborated with a diverse range of artists, not only sound artist, but also dancers and poets.
