Chieko Kitade

Chieko Kitade (born in 1974) has served as curator of 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa since 2004. She completed BA in Aesthetics and Art History at Keio University, and MA in Art History at Goldsmith College, University of London. The exhibitions she has curated include: “Gerhard Richter: Painting as Mirror” (2005), “Yoshitomo Nara: Moonlight Serenade” (2006), “Passion Complex – Selected Works from the Albright-Knox Art Gallery” (2007), “Makoto Saito: SCENE [0]” (2008), “Collection II shell – shelter”(2008) , “Hundred Stories about Love” (2009), “Peter Fischli David Weiss”(2010), “Peter McDonald: Visitor”(2011).
